Description

The Merida Matt's J24 is a top - notch hardtail mountain bike made just for 9 - 13 - year - old riders standing between 130–150cm tall. Every component is carefully picked to meet young riders' needs, making it the perfect way for them to explore the outdoors. Crafted from the same 6061 Racelite aluminium as adult mountain bikes, and painted and lacquered professionally, this bike stays looking great even after rough use. It comes with a kickstand, so it won't end up lying on the ground. There are also integrated mounts for mudguards and a rear carrier rack, allowing for future customizations. Rolling on 24” MTB tyres, the frame can also fit 27.5”(650b) wheels, giving young riders extra room to grow. With a junior - specific saddle, brake lever, and Shimano twist - shift gearing, this bike looks like a mini adult bike but is designed for young riders' body shapes and needs.

Using your Merida Matt's J24 is a breeze. First, adjust the seat height to fit your child's height. Then, put on a helmet and get ready to ride. When riding, make sure to hold the handlebars firmly and watch the road ahead. Since the bike has Shimano twist - shift gearing, teach your child how to shift gears properly to make riding easier on different terrains. For safety, always use the brake lever to slow down or stop. As for maintenance, after each ride, check the tyres' air pressure. If the pressure is low, use a bike pump to inflate them. Also, wipe down the bike to remove dirt and mud, especially after riding in wet or dirty conditions. Once in a while, lubricate the chain to keep it running smoothly. Avoid leaving the bike outside in bad weather for a long time to prevent the aluminium frame from getting damaged. If you plan to install mudguards or a rear carrier rack, use the integrated mounts on the bike. Just follow the installation instructions carefully.
