Description

The Espresso 400 S EQ is a stylish city and touring e-bike that offers great value. The reliable Shimano E6100 drive unit provides excellent assistance, and the integrated 504Wh battery ensures long-range rides, even with a loaded carrier rack. It features a smooth 9-speed Shimano drivetrain and powerful, easy-to-control hydraulic disc brakes. The suspension fork adds extra comfort and control. The 700c wheels with 50mm wide tyres offer better grip and comfort, and the reflective sidewall strips enhance safety in low light. Internally routed cables give it a sleek look, and with a 150 kg maximum system weight, it has ample carrying capacity. Standard mudguards, lights, lock, rack, and kickstand mean you're ready to ride right out of the shop.

Using your Merida Espresso 400 S EQ e-bike is a breeze. First, make sure the battery is fully charged. Turn on the bike using the power button. You can adjust the level of assistance from the Shimano E6100 drive unit according to your needs. Use the 9 - speed Shimano drivetrain to shift gears smoothly as you ride. When you need to stop, the hydraulic disc brakes are there to give you reliable stopping power. For safety, always wear a helmet and make sure the reflective sidewall strips on the tyres are visible. In low - light conditions, turn on the lights. When you're not using the bike, use the lock to secure it. To maintain your bike, keep the chain lubricated regularly. Check the tyre pressure before each ride to ensure good grip and comfort. Clean the bike after every long ride or when it gets dirty, especially the brakes and the drivetrain. Store the bike in a dry place to prevent rust and damage. Also, remember that the maximum system weight is 150 kg, so don't overload the bike.
