Using the Topeak TetraRack R1 is easy. First, make sure your bike has a rigid fork and the front fork width is between 75 - 105mm. Don't exceed the max load capacity of 7kg / 15lb. Attach the rack to the fork legs using the adjustable straps with padded feet. Use the strut slot adjustments to make the top plate level according to your fork angle. If you have a Topeak TrunkBag, you can use the QuickTrack® system to slide it onto the rack and lock it in place with a push of a button. There's also a clamp for you to mount a reflector. Note that this rack is not for carbon forks and seat stays, and it won't work with V - Brake type systems. For maintenance, keep the rack clean. Wipe it down regularly with a dry cloth. If it gets dirty, you can use a mild soap and water solution. After cleaning, dry it thoroughly to prevent rusting, especially for the aluminum parts.
