Using this Topeak front basket is easy. First, use the QuickClick® Handlebar Mount (Fixer 3e) to attach it to your bike's handlebar. Make sure the handlebar diameter is within the range of ø22.2, ø25.4, ø28.6 & ø31.8 mm, and use the included shims if needed. You can then load your items into the basket, but don't exceed the maximum load of 5 kg / 11 lb. When you're done with your trip, you can easily remove the basket using the QuickClick® mechanism. As for maintenance, since it's made of welded metal wire, you can clean it with a damp cloth regularly. Avoid leaving it in wet conditions for a long time to prevent rust. Also, check the attachment points periodically to ensure they are secure.
