Our one-of-a-kind, supersized Fat Face Fender is specifically crafted for fatbikes with rigid forks. This ingenious design is truly unique. When you overlap the arms, the mudguard curves to form a strong 3D shape, providing significantly more coverage near the tyre.
**Key Features**
- Innovative design: The fender profile can fold to follow the wheel's shape. It sits close to the tyre and overlaps its width to catch debris thrown up at high speeds.
- Keeps you clean: Stops muck, gravel, sand, and snow from hitting your face.
- Universal fit: Can be used on all fat bike wheel sizes.
- Flexible and practical: With 4 fastening points, it hugs the fork and bridge, leaving ample tyre clearance and preventing mud clogging.
- Protects your bike: Shields your fork from getting dirty, reducing cleaning and servicing needs.
- Unobtrusive: Won't disrupt your ride.
- Easy attachment: Comes with high-quality Velcro straps (zip-ties are also an option), gentle on paintwork and easy to fit and remove.
- Stable: When fitted correctly, there's no movement or rattling.
- Lightweight and versatile: Weighs just 75g, one of the lightest and most adaptable fat bike mudguards in its size range.
- Wide compatibility: Works with most rigid fork designs (not compatible with forks having a cross piece in the arch like the Trek Farley).
- Dual use: Can serve as a rear guard in some setups.
- Simple cleaning: Flexible and can open flat. Just wipe it clean.
- Eco-friendly: Made in the UK from recyclable plastic.

**Installation**
We're updating fitting instructions. For now, follow these steps. Call us if you need help.
1. Wrap the Velcro around the fork, overlapping by about an inch. Cut it and repeat on the other side.
2. Do the same on the bridge. You'll have two lengths for the fork and two for the bridge.
3. Take the fender, break off the hanger tab, tuck the rear arms under the front so they overlap. Thread the longer Velcro through the holes (fluffy side to the fork), stick the Velcro to hold the arms together while positioning the fender on the fork. Repeat on the other side.
4. Place the fender on the fork. Tighten the top two Velcro straps around the bridge first, then the lower arms around the fork.
5. Squeeze along the crease lines to adjust the roof for the right tyre clearance and square up the shape. You're ready to ride!

Using your Mucky Nutz Guard Fat Face Fender is a breeze. First, it can be used on all fat bike wheel sizes and most rigid fork designs, but make sure your fork doesn't have a cross piece in the arch like the Trek Farley. For installation, wrap the Velcro around the fork and bridge as described in the product description. Once it's on, you're all set to hit the trails.
As for maintenance, it's really easy. Since it's made of flexible plastic and can open flat, you just need to wipe it down after a ride to keep it clean. And don't worry about it getting loose or rattling; when fitted correctly, it stays put.
When it comes to long - term use, this fender is designed to last for many years. At the end of its life, remember it's recyclable, so please recycle it to help the environment. Also, if you want even more muck protection, you can pair it with our Fat Gut Fender and Fat Butt Fender.
